1. Acceptance of Terms

Terminal Lingo provides an interactive language learning platform. We reserve the right to update, change, or modify these terms at any time without prior notice. By continuing to use the platform after changes are made, you accept the updated terms.

2. User Accounts & Conduct

• Age Requirement: Terminal Lingo is designed for language learners of all ages, including users under the age of 13. However, we recommend that younger users have parental supervision while using the platform.
• Responsible Use: You agree not to use Terminal Lingo to upload, share, or transmit any unlawful, harmful, abusive, or spam content.
• Automated Access: You may not access or scrape the platform or its content through automated means (like bots or scrapers) without our explicit permission.
• Account Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the platform at our sole discretion, without notice, for violating these terms.

3. Intellectual Property

All software, platform design, text, graphics, logos, and features are the exclusive property of Terminal Lingo. You are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the platform for non-commercial language learning. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or redistribute our code or branding without prior written consent.

4. User-Generated Content & Data

If you submit or generate content (e.g., flashcards, sentences, or translations) on the platform:

• You retain responsibility for what you submit.
• We have the right (but not the obligation) to monitor, edit, or remove any content at our discretion.
• Your data and privacy are handled in accordance with our separate Privacy Policy.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

• "As Is" Basis: The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
• Limitation of Liability: Terminal Lingo, its founders, or partners shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use or inability to use the platform.

6. Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany. Any legal proceedings arising out of or relating to these terms shall be exclusively brought to the courts located in your local jurisdiction in Germany.
